About Casey Music

Casey Music was founded in 2004 in the village of Oak Park, IL by Mike Casey to accommodate the musical needs of the community. With 25 years of teaching experience in Oak Park, Mike decided to establish a permanent business of his own.

Besides teaching guitar, banjo, violin, mandolin, bass guitar and ukulele, Mike is also an experienced instrument repairman and performer. He plays with two orchestras, the Oak Park Farmer's Market Band, and the Sag Valley Boys Bluegrass Band.

Casey Music has forty private students. It features a comfortable waiting room, restroom facilities and hosts two recitals a year for its students.
